PCF Online Course Held in Dubai

On April 14 – 16, 2020, an online training course for The Performance Contracting & Funding (PCF) was held for the first time in Dubai. Candidates who attended were very pleased with the interactive session, which ran from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Candidates from different emirates joined the session, including one from Bahrain. Companies represented included DEWA, Etihad Esco., ENOVA, SEMINIS, Beacon Energy Solutions (all from UAE) and Al Moayyed Intel. (Bahrain) . The online session was presented by Prof. Bassam AbuHijleh using ZOOM platform.

TAQATI, the dedicated Program Management Office for the Dubai Demand Side Management (DSM) strategy, set up under Etihad Energy Service Company (Etihad ESCO), launched the Dubai Energy Efficiency Training Program in April 2018 in partnership with BUiD, AEE and the International Institute for Energy Training (IIET). An initiative by the Dubai Government and mandated by the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy (DSCE), has 22 sessions that combine an array of internationally and locally certified training modules to cater to the learning and development needs of various stakeholders in Dubai’s energy sector. They have started delivering their 2nd Performance Contracting and Funding Certification (PCF) course in the UAE, using online platform in support of Stay at Home federal campaign, at the British University in Dubai (BUiD).
