As a student, you are able to join one of AEE’s many student chapters located on campuses worldwide. Students share information, experiences, and objectives alongside their peers, instructors, and professors.
Scholarships are available from the AEE Foundation to candidates obtaining their undergraduate or graduate degrees who are enrolled in an accredited college or university focusing on energy engineering, energy management, environmental engineering, and sustainability.
Many student members start the AEE certification process while they attend university. AEE certified members from all disciplines are sought after by leading technology companies for their application knowledge, attitude, and commitment.
Certified Energy Efficiency Practitioner
Obtaining an EEP certification demonstrates a comprehensive overview of practices for improving energy management and energy efficiency in buildings and across facilities. Many young energy professionals use this program to develop their background knowledge before embarking on a path to the Certified Energy Manager® (CEM®)
