Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency at British International Academy School in Jordan

Association of Energy Engineers Secretary, Eng Samer Zawaydeh, gave a one hour presentation about the use of conventional energies and the problems associated with high cost, pollution, climate change, extreme weather events and use of resource for one time. And the advantages of renewable energy in general and the installations in Jordan in specific and explained ways for energy efficiency in buildings through the installation of thermal insulation, use of LEDs, efficiency equipment with energy label and efficient behaviors in addition to installation of Solar Water Heaters and Solar Photovoltaic to produce the necessary annual energy for the building and for electric transportation. Hence, our building and transportation can be designed fully from renewable sources. The future young energy engineers at the 4^th grade British International Academy School for girls in Jordan actively participated with brilliant ideas and answers.
