Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research Trains 25 Renewable Energy Professionals

The AEE Kuwait Chapter conducted Renewable Energy Professional (REP) – certification training and exam during 21-25^th April 2019. The REP training program was sponsored by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) through the Kuwait Energy Outlook (KEO) project which was carried out by the Energy Efficiency Technologies (EET) program of the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR). This course was conducted in Kuwait for the first time.

Dr. Stephen A. Roosa (Former President of AEE, founder of the REP course, Head of REP Certification Committee) delivered the course. 25 professionals attended the training from 8 different local organizations and it was hosted at the Kuwait Foundation for Advancement of Sciences (KFAS). Additionally, four research scientists from KISR attended the Train the Trainer (TTT) program.
