Jordan Energy Chapter Members Meetings

The Jordan Energy Chapter held its 11th meeting in 2017 with a two hour seminar presented by a brilliant architect and members Architect Faten AlSarayreh, Msc about Low Energy Buildings. Eng. Faten discussed the different sustainability options and the passive and active designs best practices. In addition to discussing the latest technologies like two and three layers windows and phase change material. Also discussed case studies, energy audits, green roofs, and energy simulation regulations and Jordan Green Building Guide incentives and practical details used in construction.

                

The Jordan Energy Chapter held its 12th members meeting with a seminar about the Solar off Grid System presented by Eng Shahd Al Ashqar, REP™. Around 45 people attended the two hour seminar with active participation from the attendees. The audience comes from the public, private and governmental sector. At the end of the seminar, certificates were distributed for the recent completed courses by the Chapter Board member.

Mr. Thabet Al Qaisi is a student at the University of Jordan, he completed the 4 day course and exam and passed, making him the youngest and first student to complete the course successfully.

Eng. Farah is a yoga instructor in addition to being one of the few industrial engineers who completed the course successfully.
