Jordan Completes 18th CEM Training
The Jordan Energy Chapter EDAMA completed the 18th Certified Energy Manager CEM® training course and exam during Jan 29 – Feb 02, 2017. The training was delivered by Dr Ahmad Ghandour (CEM®), Dr Ismael Alhinti (CEM®, CMVP®, BEP®), and Eng Tareq Obeido, CEM®, CEA®, CMVP®, CRM®, REP™, CBCP®. Board member Eng Nisreen Al Hussein, CEM®, CMVP®, CWEP® did a fantastic job in providing support for the trainers and she was the proctor for the exam. The participants came from the public and private sectors. The USAID ESCB Project supported four participants from the Energy and Mineral Regulatory Commission EMRC. This is the first course in Jordan that was attended by full time students. Two students from the University of Jordan paid a reduced fee, after a special offer for students, and attended the five day course and exam. We are confident that their vision and passion will excel them to achieve great energy projects in their lives. Another class of energy engineers will contribute to the energy diversity in Jordan. |
