Energy Talk Program organized by AEE Nepal Chapter

The AEE Nepal Chapter, in collaboration with the Center for Energy Studies, Institute of Engineering (IOE) of Tribhuvan University, presented their 2nd Energy Talk Program on July 7, 2019 in Pulchowk, Nepal.

The event was started by a short discourse by Dr. Prof. Sri Raj Shakya, Chief of Center for Energy Studies. He gave an overview of the talk program and the importance of energy efficiency in Nepal.

Three papers were presented during the program on Grid-connected solar and challenges in Nepal, energy efficiency implementation challenges and energy efficiency testing and measuring equipment by Ms. Abhilasha Bhuju (SunFarmer), Bhishma Pandit (President AEE Nepal) and Saliesh Baniya, Associate Enterprise respectively.

There was also a demonstration session on Energy Audit equipment for the participants. There were around 50 energy professionals, engineering students, AEE members and IOE teachers who participated in this program and the feedback from participants was excellent.

Mr. Bhishma Pandit, President of Association of Energy Engineers Nepal Chapter gave the vote of thanks and thanked everyone for participating in making this talk program successful and encouraging a fruitful discussion.
