Capacity Building of Renewable Energy in Palestine, Gaps and Targets Workshop

The AEE Palestine Chapter participated in a capacity building for renewable energy workshop organized by USAID. The Workshop discussed the gaps and targets for the capacity building in Renewable Energy in Palestine.

The workshop was held on February 20, 2018 in Ramallah, with more than 45 participants from Palestinian renewable Energy companies, Electricity companies, NGO’s, universities and governmental institution.

Dr. Mohammad Al-Syayed, CEM®, the Training Director for the AEE Palestine Chapter, gave a presentation about AEE, the AEE Palestine Chapter, and gave a brief introduction about AEE certification programs.

This event was attended by Eng. Ahmad Shawareb, the Vice President of the AEE Palestine Chapter and Lujain Yacob, EMIT® the Secretary of the Chapter.

As one of the workshop recommendations, the audience and the organizing committee confirmed that the AEE training and CEM® training course will be part for any capacity building program will be held by USAID in future.

At the end of the event, the president of AEE chapter in Palestine Eng. Abdelnaser Dwaikat thanked the AEE team valuable efforts for spreading the AEE vision.
