AEE Spain Chapter Meeting – Barcelona in Catalan Institute of Energy

AEE Spain Chapter has once again celebrated with great success a Networking Event in Barcelona. This third edition has organized, as usual, with the collaboration of the ” Catalan Institute of Energy – ICAEN”. The secretary of AEE Spain Chapter, Marc Masó, opened the session explained the goals of the Chapter and the future events scheduled during this 2017. The day was dedicated to electrical energy with a first presentation by Andreas Rosen, IPVStorage companies and Memodo GmbH & Co. KG, who explained the evolution of the German market of electrical storage in recent years and perspectives of future trends of the battery and photovoltaic market in Europe. In the second presentation, Lluís Morer, Head of the Energy Efficiency Program at ICAEN, explained the PIRVEC plan to promote electric mobility. The event was closed by the Head of the Energy Management Division of ICAEN, Juanjo Escobar, who congratulated the recent graduates and ratified ICAEN’s commitment to energy efficiency and encouraged everyone present to pursue the same goal. The event has had about 50 accredited professionals, several of whom received from the hand of Juanjo Escobar and Marc Masó his diploma C.E.M. obtained this year. With these new certificates, there are almost 900 AEE certified professionals in Spain, of which 292 are C.E.M. And 64 C.E.A.
