Kishan Khatri is a Partner and Director at D2O Inc., a Canada-based sustainability and energy consulting firm headquartered in Brampton, Ontario, delivering tech-driven solutions across Canada and globally. He brings over 12 years of experience in the industry, specializing in building performance, energy efficiency, and decarbonization strategies across residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional sectors. 

He holds globally recognized credentials including ASHRAE Certified Building Energy Modeling Professional (BEMP), LEED AP (O+M) and BOMA BEST Verification Professional reflecting his strong technical expertise and leadership in sustainable building practices. 

 Kishan is an active industry leader and currently serves as President of the AEE Greater Toronto Area Chapter and YEA Committee Chair at ASHRAE Toronto Chapter, where he contributes to advancing knowledge sharing, professional collaboration, and innovation in the energy and sustainability sector. 

His key speaking topics include:

  • Building decarbonization strategies and net-zero pathways 
  • Energy modeling for compliance and performance optimization

He is particularly focused on delivering data-driven, scalable, and practical solutions to help organizations transition toward low-carbon and high-performance buildings.

With extensive international experience, he has worked on projects across Canada, the United States, the Middle East, and Asia, collaborating with developers, consultants, and stakeholders to deliver energy-efficient, cost-effective, and future-ready building solutions.
