Engr. Muhammad Saad Rehan

AEE UET Peshawar Student Chapter at U.S.-Pakistan Center.
Engr. Muhammad Saad Rehan serves as the Faculty Advisor for the AEE UET Peshawar Student Chapter at U.S.-Pakistan Center for Advanced Studies in Energy (USPCAS-E). His professional work combines applied research, engineering consultancy, laboratory development, and capacity building in the energy sector.
He is pursuing a Ph.D. in Renewable Energy Engineering, with research focused on next-generation solar photovoltaics. In addition to his academic and teaching responsibilities, Muhammad Saad has contributed in technical consultancy and engineering support for energy audits, solar photovoltaic system design, renewable energy feasibility studies, energy performance assessments, and energy conservation planning for public-sector, educational, healthcare, and institutional facilities in Pakistan. He has also contributed to projects involving the testing, reliability assessment, and failure analysis of photovoltaic modules.
As the Faculty Advisor of the AEE UET Peshawar Student Chapter, he promotes professional development, industry engagement, technical training, community outreach, and student leadership in energy and sustainability. Through research, consultancy, and professional service, he remains committed to developing practical, scalable, and high-impact clean energy solutions.
Eligibility & Criteria
Nominees must meet the following criteria (self-nominations are allowed):
- Must be an AEE member
- Actively contribute to reducing energy consumption
- Lead or participate in sustainability initiatives (e.g., recycling programs, renewable energy projects)
- Serve as a role model by promoting sustainable practices and implementing improvements that reduce environmental impact
