Samer Zawaydeh

Samer Zawaydeh, M.S.C., C.R.M., R.E.P. is an internationally recognized independent engineer and energy expert with over 26 years of global management experience. His expertise spans power station and refinery steel structures, wind and solar project development, energy efficiency, and green buildings. He has contributed to national initiatives such as Jordan’s Renewables Readiness Assessment with IRENA and was the first consultant to implement the Jordan Green Building Guide rating system in 2015. He also serves as a lecturer at Al Hussein Technical University.
Mr. Zawaydeh has worked extensively with international donors including USAID, GIZ, and the EU on energy audits, retrofit projects, capacity building, and sector studies across energy, water, and green economy fields. Since 2012, he has developed training programs and trained over 50,000 professionals in renewable energy, energy efficiency, project development, and climate change.
A certified Carbon Auditing Professional (CAP)and Renewable Energy Professional (REP), he is an active leader within the Association, having held multiple regional and international leadership roles. He is a frequent public speaker and remains committed to advancing affordable, secure, and sustainable energy locally, regionally, and globally.
