September 2026
President and CEO, TransPower Company.
Adil H. Khan is an electrical engineer, entrepreneur, educator, and energy professional with more than 30 years of experience in the energy and engineering industry. With an engineering background complemented by an MBA, his career has brought together engineering innovation, energy efficiency, research and development, manufacturing, and business leadership. He is President and CEO of TransPower Company, an engineering, R&D, and manufacturing organization focused on improving electrical system performance and energy efficiency, and also serves as CEO and Applications Engineer of Accentz, Inc., where he works with engineers, contractors, and facility professionals to apply practical engineering solutions to real-world energy and electrical system challenges.
A significant part of Adil's professional journey has been his longstanding involvement with the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE). He has served in numerous leadership capacities, including chapter Secretary, Treasurer, and President, as well as Regional Vice President. He currently sits on the boards of the Rocky Mountain AEE (RMAEE) and AEE San Joaquin Valley chapters and helped establish a new chapter in New Orleans. He views strong local chapters as essential to AEE's mission, creating opportunities for professionals to exchange ideas, continue their education, and mentor emerging professionals. His commitment became especially important during the COVID-19 pandemic, when he worked with chapter leaders to help keep local chapters connected and active. For three consecutive years — 2024, 2025, and 2026 — he and Accentz, Inc. have supported AEE Certified Energy Manager (CEM®) training and certification in Colorado, work he considers an investment in the future of the profession.
Adil has received AEE's South Central Region Innovator of the Year Award, recognizing his contributions to the energy profession, as well as a Colorado Governor's Award for Content of Character and Social Responsibility. He is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Denver, bringing practical engineering and business experience into the classroom, and is the founder of American Academy K-8, reflecting his broader commitment to education at every level.
"When we share our knowledge, give our time, and help others succeed, we strengthen not only our profession, but the communities and generations that follow us."
Adil remains committed to advancing energy efficiency and sustainability and to supporting AEE’s mission through engineering innovation, professional education, certification, mentorship, chapter development, and collaboration with current and future generations of energy professionals.
