Abdelnaser Dwaikat

My journey with The Association of Energy Engineers started in Palestine in August 2016, it was created with a great cooperation with the Assistant Director of the International Membership Development for the Middle East Eng. Samer Zawaydeh, and he gave a lot of support for the chapter to see the light.

After one year of establishment of AEE Palestine Chapter, the achievements started as we have created the first Student Chapter in An Najah National University, two students won the CWEEL scholarship and the first CEM certification was obtained in Palestine.

By end of 2017, we organized the first energy exhibition which lasted for 3 days and visited by more than 300 visitors. With respectful cooperation from my colleagues, we held the first-ever CEM certification in Palestine mid of 2018 and have continued to hold CEM certification courses and exams in 2019 and beyond.

By serving the Association as a volunteer, I was able to enhance my energy knowledge and expertise by reading, studying and I do firmly believe and support the scientific and educational mission of AEE and do encourage everyone to get involved with the AEE local, regional and International Activities. I am currently serving as the President of AEE Chapter in Palestine and my vision is to see all students and professionals joining and actively participating in the AEE Activities.
