Why AEE Certifications Matter Now More Than Ever

The global landscape is going through a fast-paced powerful transformation due to climate change, decarbonization efforts, geopolitical changes, economic, and environmental factors, social awareness, and huge technological innovations among others. But are global energy professionals and companies ready for the current challenges?

Attending AEE events and other industry conferences surrounded by global energy and sustainability leaders, where real world-case scenarios, insights, and trends that are being discussed, are powerful reminders that the current challenges require not only an increase in the number of technical professionals, but qualified experts to generate impactful solutions.

For more than a decade, I have witnessed the incredible work, dedication, and determination that AEE certified professionals develop as they navigate through the complexities of energy efficiency and sustainability projects worldwide. Their resilience and commitment for a sustainable future is truly inspiring.

In my experience, AEE Professionals have always being recognized as beacons of integrity and knowledge, because they are committed to rigorous standards and ethical practices. And how  do I know that? Because if they achieved and maintained their AEE certifications, they had also to commit to AEE’s standards and best practices.

Why Renew?

Holding an AEE certification is not just a piece of paper or a bunch of letters after a name in a resume; is a professional statement of real knowledge, skills, and best practices in energy, energy efficiency and sustainability.

I am proud to be part of the AEE staff that makes sure that when our certified professionals are renewing their certifications they are following and meeting the Body of Knowledge and renewal requirements to maintain their own designations, because AEE Certification Programs are globally recognized and respected across borders.

Renewing your AEE certifications have a plethora of benefits. I can say that its open doors to local or global collaborations, it helps to enhance your career, and it reassures governments, companies, and clients to have a reliable and knowledgeable professional in charge, but also helps in:
