The Association of Energy Engineers to Participate in COP 30 in Brazil

The Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) is proud to announce our participation in COP 30 in Belém, Brazil. Representing AEE will be Bill Kent, Mary Elise Cox, Cheyenne Kimbrell, Ziad Haddad, and Samuel Monterosso.

During COP30, AEE will meet with global partners to strengthen our shared commitment and to advance the adoption and acceleration of energy efficiency.  AEE is a global leader in energy efficiency training and certification for professionals engaged in the critical day to day work required to decarbonize.  A knowledgeable and qualified workforce is key for countries to meet their Nationally determined contributions (NDCs) and to achieve global net-zero emissions by 2050.

AEE is pleased to be participating in a panel, “Building Business & Technical Capacity to Reach 2030 Energy Transition Goals, “along with the International Council for Sustainable Energy (ICSE) and the Alliance to Save Energy (ASE), and the Alliance for an Energy Efficient Economy (AEEE).This discussion will highlight technical skills development required to meet, not only global targets, but also existing shortfalls in the market.

AEE’s participation in UNFCCC events, such as COP, reflects our commitment to accelerating the rate of energy efficiency and highlighting the work the energy community is already doing to drive progress towards a more sustainable future.

Together, we can empower energy professionals to drive lasting, sustainable change.
