Ten Years of Partnership: Advancing Energy Efficiency Through People, Collaboration, and Standards in Uganda

For ten years, the Association of Energy Engineers and our Uganda Chapter have worked alongside partners like GIZ PREEEP to strengthen energy efficiency and empower the people driving this progress. This milestone, celebrated at the Uganda Energy Efficiency Symposium 2025, highlighted how collaboration across government, industry, academia, and communities fuels real impact. Together, we’ve built technical capacity, expanded professional certification, elevated women and youth in the sector, and supported a growing energy efficiency workforce grounded in global best practices.
