One of the most notable features at AEE World is the technical session program. Track A- FED Energy

This track is aimed at those working in the Federal government, or those looking to gain benefits from the Federal government such as tax incentives or funding. This series of presentations showcase diverse perspectives on the critical role of governmental strategies in shaping the energy landscape such as federal energy policy, regulatory frameworks, incentives for renewable energy adoption and infrastructure development, and more.

Track B- Energy Management 

In this track focused on energy management, a series of presentations will provide a comprehensive exploration of strategies and practices aimed at optimizing energy use across various sectors. They highlight different aspects of effective energy management including best practices in starting an energy efficiency business, funding projects and cost savings, and implementing standards, leaving attendees with a deeper understanding of the strategic importance of energy management in achieving both economic and environmental objectives.

Track C- Alternative and Renewable Energy 

In a dynamic session dedicated to alternative and renewable energy, a series of presentations illuminated innovative approaches and breakthroughs shaping the future of sustainable energy sources. This track, in partnership with DOE’s Better Plants Program, focuses on valuable insights into the strategies and best practices employed by experts to reduce carbon emissions within industrial sectors. More information on specific topics will be released soon. 

Track F- Building Performance

Dedicated to building performance, this series of presentations offered a deep dive into strategies and technologies aimed at improving energy efficiency and sustainability in the built environment. Each presentation focused on different aspects of building performance, including advanced HVAC systems, codes and standards, building envelope enhancements, and smart building technologies. Attendees will gain valuable insights into best practices and innovative solutions driving the evolution towards energy-efficient and environmentally responsible buildings.

In this dual track on decarbonization and electrification, a series of presentations provide a comprehensive look into strategies for reducing carbon emissions and transitioning to electric energy systems. Each presentation explored different facets of this transformative process, including the role of electrification in replacing fossil fuel-based systems with cleaner electric alternatives across transportation, heating, and industrial processes. Experts discussed innovative technologies such as electric vehicles, heat pumps, energy storage, and grid modernization efforts to support increased electricity demand.
