Training Program

Certified Demand-Side Managers inherently understand DSM and DR program frameworks, how they are viewed by different constituents (customers, utilities, and communities), the impacts of these programs, and how they align with organizational goals. They are equally comfortable when planning and implementing projects as they are managing and supporting them.

This program prepares applicants to undertake the CDSM Certification Exam. It also provides a comprehensive understanding when directing, managing, administering, and supporting DSM and DR programs, and teaches professionals how to avoid common mistakes and pitfalls when designing, implementing and managing new programs. DSM and DR programs are increasingly being implemented by utilities, states, and government entities.
