50 Volunteers from AEE’s Jordan University Student Chapter Support the 6th GCREEDER

The AEE Jordan University Student Chapter worked night and day to support the 6th Global Conference on Renewables and Energy Efficiency for Desert Regions (GCREEDER-2018) that was held April 3-5, 2018 in Amman, Jordan. The Opening Ceremony was held under the patronage of HRH Prince Hamzah Bin Al Hussein. Opening session speakers included Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Prof. Ahmed Al-Salaymeh, and President of the University of Jordan, Prof. Azmi Mahafzah, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Dr. Saleh A. Al-Kharabsheh.

The conference was attended by several hundred people from 24 countries, over the full three days. It had three parallel sessions at the same time. An exhibition was also running throughout the duration of the conference. In addition, poster presentations for the energy students graduation projects were also displayed.
