80 Million in Funding Available for Small and Medium Manufacturers Increasing Energy Efficiency

The US Department of Energy recently announced its investment of up to $80 million from the Bipartisan Infrastructure law to support small and medium-sized manufacturing firms (SMMs) in implementing recommendations from either the Industrial Assessment Centers or Combined Heat and Power Technical Assistance Partnership assessments between 2018-2023 to improve energy efficiency to lower costs and reduce industrial emissions. Recommendations from the assessments offer SMMs an opportunity to take advantage of improved reliability, greater energy resilience, and more versatile fuel flexibility.
