Safia Sheerin Abdul Kadhar is a Scientific Engineering Associate at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, where she advances data-driven research on building energy performance, HVAC analytics, passive design, and equitable efficiency.

A Living Future Accredited Professional and Certified Passive House Designer (CPHD) candidate, Safia is an active member of AEE, CWEEL, the WRISE San Francisco Chapter, ISSP, PHN, and iPHA. She also contributes to LBNL’s Women Scientists and Engineers Council (WSEC) and serves as a Health & Wellness Ambassador, promoting women in STEM, sustainability, and climate resilience through research, mentorship, and public education.
