Announcing the 2024 AEE Energy Managers Hall of Fame Inductee

AEE is excited to announce the 2024 Energy Managers Hall of Fame Inductee. Since 1990, the AEE Energy Managers Hall of Fame has honored outstanding leaders in the energy industry who over their lifetimes have made significant contributions to the field of energy management.

Please join us in congratulating Dr. Fotouh Al-Ragom as the 2024 AEE Energy Managers Hall of Fame Inductee. She will be honored at the 2024 AEE World Energy Conference Closing Keynote Luncheon on Friday, September 27th at the Music City Center in Nashville, TN.

Dr. Fotouh Al-Ragom is the Energy Efficiency Technologies Program manager at the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR). Fotouh holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from University of Florida, Gainesville.

هي عالمة أبحاث تتمتع بخبرة تزيد عن 20 عامًا في مجال الحفاظ على الطاقة وكفاءة الطاقة وتدقيق الطاقة وكود الطاقة وتكييف الهواء وإنتاج الهيدروجين المتجدد. قادت العديد من المشاريع في مجال خبرتها وحصلت على اعتراف دولي.

تشارك في التدريب المهني على الصعيدين الوطني والإقليمي في مجال كفاءة الطاقة وتدقيق الطاقة ، وهي حاليًا مدربة معتمدة من CEA و REP للكويت. قامت بتأليف العديد من المقالات في المجلات التي راجعها النظراء وفصول الكتب وتحمل العديد من براءات الاختراع المشتركة. وهي حاليا عضو في اللجنة الوطنية لكفاءة الطاقة والسياسات والتخطيط والطاقة المتجددة التابعة للجنة العليا للطاقة لدولة الكويت. أسست فرع AEE الكويت وتشغل حاليًا منصب رئيسها. هي مساعد مدير AEE للتنمية الدولية لمنطقة الشرق الأوسط.

Fotouh is currently serving as AEE Board Member at-large and served as the AEE President in 2022. She has been a member of AEE since 2000 and now holds the Fellow Membership. She has received several recognition awards including the Emirates Energy Award, the Federation of Arab Engineers Distinguished Female Engineer for the State of Kuwait and International Professional Development Award from AEE.
