Announcing the 2024 AEE Energy Managers Hall of Fame Inductee

AEE is excited to announce the 2024 Energy Managers Hall of Fame Inductee. Since 1990, the AEE Energy Managers Hall of Fame has honored outstanding leaders in the energy industry who over their lifetimes have made significant contributions to the field of energy management.

Please join us in congratulating Dr. Fotouh Al-Ragom as the 2024 AEE Energy Managers Hall of Fame Inductee. She will be honored at the 2024 AEE World Energy Conference Closing Keynote Luncheon on Friday, September 27th at the Music City Center in Nashville, TN.

Dr. Fotouh Al Ragom
CEM, CEA, CSDP

Dr. Fotouh Al-Ragom is the Energy Efficiency Technologies Program manager at the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR). Fotouh holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from University of Florida, Gainesville.

Es científica investigadora con más de 20 años de experiencia en el campo de la conservación de la energía, la eficiencia energética, la auditoría energética, el código energético, el aire acondicionado y la producción de hidrógeno renovable. Ha liderado varios proyectos en su campo de especialización y obtenido reconocimiento internacional.

Participa en formación profesional a nivel nacional y regional en eficiencia energética y auditoría energética y actualmente es formadora autorizada de CEA y REP para Kuwait. Es autora de varios artículos en revistas revisadas por pares, capítulos de libros y posee varias patentes compartidas. Actualmente es miembro de los comités nacionales de eficiencia energética, política y planificación y energía renovable del Comité Supremo de Energía del Estado de Kuwait. Fundó el Capítulo AEE Kuwait y actualmente se desempeña como su presidente. Es la subdirectora de desarrollo internacional de la AEE para la región de Oriente Medio.

Fotouh is currently serving as AEE Board Member at-large and served as the AEE President in 2022. She has been a member of AEE since 2000 and now holds the Fellow Membership. She has received several recognition awards including the Emirates Energy Award, the Federation of Arab Engineers Distinguished Female Engineer for the State of Kuwait and International Professional Development Award from AEE.
