Our Awards Program highlights achievements in energy management, efficiency, sustainability, and related fields, honoring those who exemplify excellence and advancing the industry at local, regional, and international levels.
Awards Categories
AEE honors excellence in energy through three distinct award categories: International, Regional, and Chapter awards. The International Awards celebrate exceptional contributions in energy by recognizing individuals, organizations, agencies, and corporations that are leading the way in innovation and sustainability on a global scale. Regional Awards highlight leaders within specific areas, celebrating their outstanding achievements and impact on the energy community. Chapter Awards focus on the local level, acknowledging the invaluable contributions made by members in their communities. AEE recognizes excellence at every level, emphasizing the importance of acting locally while thinking globally.
Award Nominations
The AEE Awards Program recognizes outstanding achievements in energy management, efficiency, and sustainability. To be eligible, nominees must submit a detailed description of their work, including specific projects or programs, and provide substantiated savings and financial data. A Call for Nominations is sent to AEE members in November each year, and entries are evaluated by a committee of experienced professionals. Recipients are notified prior to the AEE World Energy Conference, where they are recognized and awarded during a ceremony.
