AEE Supports Oman’s Efforts to Build Green Talent for Net Zero
The Sultanate of Oman has launched the National Energy Efficiency Programme (Kafa’a), a groundbreaking initiative to certify Omani professionals as energy auditors under international standards. This six-week programme, led by the Ministry of Energy and Minerals in collaboration with the Ministry of Labour and Sultan Qaboos University, trains participants to become Certified Energy Auditors (CEA) through rigorous classroom and practical training. The initiative aligns with Oman Vision 2040 and global climate goals, aiming to build national capacity for energy efficiency and support the country’s transition to a low-carbon economy.
