Javier Ojeda is a Mechanical Engineer, with 18 years of experience in the renewable energy since 2005. He is currently directing his career through the path of the Energy Management since 2009, with the participation in the creation of a Special Unit in Energy Management in his past company, CORPOELEC, in Venezuela. He also obtained the Certified Energy Management® Professional Certification, by the Association of Energy Engineers, and in 2017, he obtained the Renewable Energy Professional® certification. During these years, he has participated in the development of various projects related to the efficient use of energy on industrial, commercial and domestic facilities, working from the “utility side”, helping customers (mainly high consumption customers like steel and aluminum mills) to develop projects and measures to reduce their energy consumption, as part of a government directive. Also, he is a holder of the Project Management Professional® international certification, and apply the PMI principles in his projects. Javier coordinated and executed many interdisciplinary projects that required the use of his skills in Mechanical Engineering, Project Management, and the interaction with different departments in his company and other companies (suppliers, contractors, etc.). Now, he lives in Canada. One of his recent career milestones was to be the first plant manager for Muskrat Falls, the most recent big hydroelectric development in Canada, and now he is running his own consulting firm focused on engineering and project management consulting for Renewable Energy, Sustainability and Energy Efficiency projects, and initiatives.

Erwin Plett es Ingeniero Civil Químico de la Universidad de Chile, con un Doctorado en Ingeniería de Procesos de la Universität Karlsruhe (T.H.) (hoy KIT, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology), Alemania, y un post-doctorado en Ingeniería Térmica en la University of Wisconsin-Madison, Estados Unidos de América / USA.

Es docente de postgrado del “Diplomado en Economía del Hidrógeno” de la Universidad de Santiago de Chile, USACH, del “Diplomado en Tecnologías de Hidrógeno” de la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, PUC, del “Diplomado en Ciencia y Tecnología de Hidrógeno” de la Universidad Católica de Temuco, UCT, y de la “Diplomatura en Evaluación de Proyectos de Energía Renovable y Almacenamiento” de la Universidad del Centro de Estudios Macroeconómicos de Argentina, UCEMA. Se ha desempeñado como Presidente de la Comisión de Energía del Colegio de Ingenieros de Chile A.G. y como primer vicepresidente de la Association of Energy Engineers, aee, Capítulo Chile.
