Nous reconnaissons les réalisations les plus élevées dans le domaine de l'énergie dans le monde. La reconnaissance de l'excellence par ses pairs et d'autres professionnels de l'industrie de l'énergie est le but de ce programme. Les catégories de prix internationaux sont :
Présenté à un individuel pour ses réalisations exceptionnelles dans la promotion des pratiques, des principes et des procédures de l'ingénierie énergétique, et pour un service supérieur à l'Association. Le récipiendaire doit être un ingénieur professionnel enregistré (EP)*.
* Des exceptions peuvent être faites à l'exigence PE pour les ingénieurs hautement qualifiés dans les pays sans licence d'ingénieur professionnel.
Présenté à un secteur privé société, agence, ou organisation pour ses réalisations exceptionnelles dans le développement, l'organisation, la gestion et la mise en œuvre de son programme de gestion de l'énergie d'entreprise, et pour un service supérieur à l'Association.
Présenté à un secteur public institution, agence ou organisation telle que la ville, le comté, l'État ou le gouvernement fédéral ; une université ou K-12 (de la maternelle à la 12e année, publique ou privée), etc. pour ses réalisations exceptionnelles dans le développement, l'organisation, la gestion et la mise en œuvre de son programme complet de gestion de l'énergie, et pour un service supérieur à l'Association.
Présenté à un individuel pour ses réalisations exceptionnelles dans la formation et le développement d'ingénieurs et de gestionnaires en énergie, et pour un service supérieur à l'Association.
Présenté à un individuel pour des réalisations exceptionnelles dans la promotion des pratiques, des principes de gestion et de développement de l'énergie, et pour un service supérieur à l'Association. Généralement décerné à un directeur de l'énergie d'entreprise ou à un gestionnaire de l'énergie exerçant des fonctions pour une entreprise industrielle ou un propriétaire/gestionnaire d'immeubles.
Reconnaît une gestion énergétique innovante projet aux États-Unis qui est en opération depuis au moins six (6) mois et qui peut être justifiée par les coûts d'installation réels et les économies d'exploitation.
Reconnaît une gestion de l'énergie projet développé et installé en dehors des États-Unis Le projet est souvent reconnu pour son approche unique en son genre dans le pays où il a été installé. Cependant, les projets encore plus conventionnels avec un succès significatif (économies et/ou visibilité) sont également encouragés. Étant donné que les récompenses sont basées sur des projets installés et réussis, les plans et objectifs futurs ne sont pas pris en compte. Le projet doit être en opération depuis au moins six (6) mois et pouvoir être justifié par les coûts réels d'installation et les économies d'exploitation.
Reconnaît une énergie innovante projet (comprend les énergies renouvelables et les projets verts, et ceux qui ont un impact significatif sur le changement climatique) qui est en activité depuis au moins six mois et peut être justifié par l'installation réelle, les coûts d'exploitation et les réalisations. Il s'agit d'une vaste catégorie, et tous les projets sont dûment pris en considération.
Présenté à un individuel pour des réalisations et des innovations exceptionnelles dans la promotion de l'adoption de technologies énergétiques renouvelables, vertes ou innovantes.
Presented to an individual 35 years of age or younger on January 1, or the Award Year (ex. Jan 1 2024 for the 2025 Award Year), who has made outstanding contributions to the energy profession and to the candidate’s community in any or all of these areas: educational and collegiate achievements; professional and technical society activities; civic and humanitarian activities, continuing competence; energy management achievements; climate change activities and achievements; and renewable energy activities and achievements.

The Council on Women in Energy and Environmental Leadership (CWEEL) recognizes chapters and its CWEEL liaisons or advocates for their contribution towards CWEEL's growth with champion awards.
There are two awards given annually, one US and one International. Each champion's associated chapter will also receive $500 to put towards CWEEL efforts.
