Limited Time CMVP Renewal Amnesty Program Available

The Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) launched a one-time CMVP Renewal Amnesty Program to help professionals with a lapsed Certified Measurement & Verification Professional (CMVP) credentials return to active status through a simplified reinstatement process.

Running through June 30, 2026, the program was introduced in response to feedback from AEE’s certification community. Since its launch, many professionals have already taken advantage of the opportunity to restore their credential and reconnect with the global CMVP community.

AEE is reminding eligible professionals to take advantage of the program while the amnesty period remains open.

A Simplified Path to Reinstatement

During the amnesty period, eligible professionals can reinstate their CMVP certification with:

Only 10 renewal credits, regardless of when the certification expired
A discounted reinstatement fee – available exclusively during the program

This streamlined process makes it easier than ever for experienced professionals to regain their CMVP credential and demonstrate continued expertise in measurement and verification.
