Cairo, 11 December 2025 \u2014 The Middle-East and North-Africa energy sector has a new benchmark for gender-inclusion excellence: AEE HTU\u2019s student chapter was named winner of the 2025 RENEW MENA Regional Network \u201cCareer Catalyst Achievement\u201d award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The annual prize\u2014often dubbed the \u201cgender-equality Nobel of MENA energy\u201d\u2014recognizes initiatives that move the needle on women\u2019s participation, leadership, and career progression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The AEE HTU Chapter has cracked the code on turning female students into energy-sector founders, engineers, and executives. Its success is driven by organizing and moderating a flagship energy efficiency all women panel discussion introducing its pillars to 400 students on campus. Chapter board member\u2014energy-engineering senior Ms. Anaam Rasheed Zamil\u2014accepted the award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis award validates our belief that structured support and early industry exposure can dismantle barriers,\u201d said Zamil. \u201cWe\u2019re not just preparing female students for jobs; we\u2019re empowering them to become architects of the region\u2019s energy future.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The chapter\u2019s achievement is expected to inspire similar initiatives across the Jordan\u2019s 19 AEE Student Chapter and MENA region in general, signaling a shift toward more inclusive talent development in the energy transition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
