Lead Your Life and Energy Career Testimonial:Thomas Briede, CEM

While searching for 2022 AEE training courses which offer continuing education credits, the class titled “Lead Your Life and Energy Career” caught my eye. The title and curriculum sparked my interest as I was looking for something different that would force outside of the box thinking.

Immediately upon meeting the course instructor, Ziad Haddad and the international panel of classmates, I felt a strong connection and knew I had made a great choice. Everyone, especially Ziad shared personal and inspiring experiences which enhanced the learning. 

The lessons were not only impactful, but were backed by dozens of inspirational quotes and stories from many world renowned leaders throughout history. An excellent reading list was provided which will promote continued mastery of the lessons. Some modules were great reminders on leadership best practices and many other modules were fresh and new. The single most impactful lesson for me was learning multiple concepts on how to prioritize work and focus on what really matters.

This course provided the concepts and tools needed to look inward and understand where one is and where one wants to be. It provided a road map for building life goals and incorporating those into one’s energy career. I recommend this course to anyone interesting in understanding more about themselves and how to incorporate their strengths and weaknesses into their life and energy career.
