Individual Memberships

MEMBER - $195
An individual with an engineering, architectural, business, or law degree or a registered Professional Engineer or Architect. (Persons who are qualified by experience or related degree may petition in writing for full membership consideration.) AEE provides a reduction in membership dues for applicants and renewing members who reside in lower income countries categorized by The World Bank Economic statistics. AFFILIATE MEMBER - $195
A person interested in the objectives of AEE who does not meet the criteria to be a full member. $195.00    

SENIOR MEMBER - $195
A graduate of an engineering college or university or a registered Professional Engineer or Architect with six years' experience in energy engineering or energy management.    

INDIVIDUAL CORPORATE MEMBER - $160
If your company is an AEE corporate member you receive a special membership discount.    

YOUNG ENERGY PROFESSIONAL - $50
An individual 30 years of age or under with an engineering, architectural, business, or law degree or a registered Professional Engineer or Architect.    

STUDENT MEMBER - $15
An individual who is a full-time matriculated student (send evidence of full-time student status).   

RETIRED MEMBER - $15
An individual retired full-time who is no longer involved in any career activity.    

LIFETIME MEMBER - $1495
Open to all individuals.

Corporate Membership

CORPORATE MEMBER
A company can increase its exposure to the industry by becoming a Corporate Member in AEE. Their logo will be featured in the Corporate Member showcase and online. A Corporate Membership has three (3) individual AEE members, with the option to add additional members at a reduced rate.

  • Silver Corporate Member - $995
  • Gold Corporate Member - $1,995
  • Platinum Corporate Member- $2,995 

LIFETIME CORPORATE MEMBER
New or current Corporate Members can choose this option at any time. Lifetime Corporate Membership includes all the benefits for regular Corporate Membership and three (3) individual transferrable memberships that never expire, and all AEE divisions included for these members. Lifetime Corporate Members pay a one-time fee and never pay dues again! 

There are three (3) levels of Lifetime Corporate Membership. Each level has the same benefits equal to the yearly membership benefits:

  • Silver Lifetime Corporate Member - $7,500
  • Gold Lifetime Corporate Member - $14,500
  • Platinum Lifetime Corporate Member - $20,500

Membership Divisions 

ALTERNATIVE & RENEWABLE ENERGY DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTE - $30.00
The division addresses state-of-the-art technological advances in solar, wind, biomass, and other green/renewable/alternative energy sources.

COGENERATION & DISTRIBUTED GENERATION INSTITUTE - $30.00
CI is comprised of professionals representing all segments of the cogeneration and distributed generation industry. Interest areas include independent power production, exempt wholesale generation, new technologies and applications, and regulatory, market and other power industry developments.

COUNCIL ON WOMEN IN ENERGY & ENVIRONMENTAL LEADERSHIP - $30.00
The Council on Women in Energy & Environmental Leadership (CWEEL) provides a network for women in the energy and environmental industries that can assist in supporting career development for professional women, mentor young and aspiring women to pursue technical education and careers in the energy and environmental fields, and establish CWEEL as a forum for women to promote policy in the energy industry.

ENERGY SERVICES MARKETING SOCIETY - $30.00 
EEMI publishes the newsletter Environmental News. EEMI members also receive Environmental Protection, a magazine published ten times a year. The division also sponsors AEE events and seminars with environmental content.

ENERGY MANAGERS SOCIETY - $50.00
ESMS provides a forum for industry news and exchange of information among professionals involved in all areas of energy services, power and natural gas marketing, performance contracting, and energy project financing.

FACILITY MANAGER INSTITUTE - $30.00
The role of today’s facility manager spans a cross-section of job responsibilities including: energy procurement, security, building performance, maintenance scheduling, equipment upgrades, multi-site portfolio management, budget planning, energy efficiency, communications technology, environmental compliance, and productivity.

ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERS & MANAGERS INSTITUTE  - $30.00
Members of Energy Managers Society (EMS) receive a complimentary subscription to the Energy Managers Digest. EMS members also receive the full benefits of AEE membership, including the publications AEE Insight,Energy Engineering Journal, and Strategic Planning for Energy & the Environment.
