Jordan Trains 111 Engineers 1st Week of September 2016

The Jordan Energy Chapter EDAMA, the local chapter of the Association of Energy Engineers in Jordan, trained 111 Engineers during the 1st week of September 2016. Two courses for the Certified Energy Manager (CEM) training course and exam were completed training 100 engineers, and one Certified Measurement and Verification Professional (CMVP) training course with 11 engineers were completed.  The courses were attended by engineers from the Public Sector, Private sector, Civil Defense, national security, customs, and large organizations.

The courses were conducted at three different locations during the same week. Two qualified Jordanian trainers conducted each of the CEM courses and three CMVP trainers conducted the CMVP course. Each of the CEM exams were proctored by eight people; the two trainers, two chapter board members and four volunteer chapter members.

The Jordan Energy Chapter prepared the course announcement, application receipt and review, venue and food booking, printing and distribution of the course material, accounting, daily presence at the course, preparation of the attendance certificates, distribution of certificates, and taking pictures.
