About the Presenters:
Christy Cannon has been a Certified Energy Manager for 15 years and holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. Her career in energy spans over two decades, including work during the Texas electric market deregulation of 2002. She has built utility tariff rate databases, conducted ASHRAE audits, and taught classes on peak demand management and electric market economics. In her current role as a Solutions Consultant at Yardi Energy, she focuses on real-time metering, data acquisition, and alerting tools for building systems. She is in her third year of serving on the AEE Advisory Board and the CWEEL mentorship committee.
Ray Segars is a Solutions Consultant at Yardi Energy and an award-winning energy professional with over 30 years of industry experience promoting energy efficiency and sustainability. He holds a BS from Georgia Tech and an MS and MBA from Georgia State University. He earned CEM certification in 2010, LEED Green Associate accreditation from USGBC, and Fitwel Ambassador accreditation in 2019. Among other distinctions, he has served as a chapter officer and region VP for AEE.
