AEE is excited to announce the 2024 Energy Managers Hall of Fame Inductee. Since 1990, the AEE Energy Managers Hall of Fame has honored outstanding leaders in the energy industry who over their lifetimes have made significant contributions to the field of energy management.

Please join us in congratulating Dr. Fotouh Al-Ragom as the 2024 AEE Energy Managers Hall of Fame Inductee. She will be honored at the 2024 AEE World Energy Conference<\/a> Closing Keynote Luncheon on Friday, September 27th at the Music City Center in Nashville, TN.

Dr. Fotouh Al Ragom<\/strong>
CEM, CEA, CSDP<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Fotouh Al-Ragom is the Energy Efficiency Technologies Program manager at the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR). Fotouh holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from University of Florida, Gainesville.

Es cient\u00edfica investigadora con m\u00e1s de 20 a\u00f1os de experiencia en el campo de la conservaci\u00f3n de la energ\u00eda, la eficiencia energ\u00e9tica, la auditor\u00eda energ\u00e9tica, el c\u00f3digo energ\u00e9tico, el aire acondicionado y la producci\u00f3n de hidr\u00f3geno renovable. Ha liderado varios proyectos en su campo de especializaci\u00f3n y obtenido reconocimiento internacional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participa en formaci\u00f3n profesional a nivel nacional y regional en eficiencia energ\u00e9tica y auditor\u00eda energ\u00e9tica y actualmente es formadora autorizada de CEA y REP para Kuwait. Es autora de varios art\u00edculos en revistas revisadas por pares, cap\u00edtulos de libros y posee varias patentes compartidas. Actualmente es miembro de los comit\u00e9s nacionales de eficiencia energ\u00e9tica, pol\u00edtica y planificaci\u00f3n y energ\u00eda renovable del Comit\u00e9 Supremo de Energ\u00eda del Estado de Kuwait. Fund\u00f3 el Cap\u00edtulo AEE Kuwait y actualmente se desempe\u00f1a como su presidente. Es la subdirectora de desarrollo internacional de la AEE para la regi\u00f3n de Oriente Medio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fotouh is currently serving as AEE Board Member at-large and served as the AEE President in 2022. She has been a member of AEE since 2000 and now holds the Fellow Membership.
