Energy Awareness Seminar for Students in Jordan

“Energy Positive Buildings as Carbon Sinks” at British International Academy School in Jordan

President of the local chapter of the Association of Energy Engineers local chapter in Jordan, Eng Samer Zawaydeh, gave a one and half hour presentation about energy efficiency and renewable energy at the British International Academy School for girls on Tuesday May 16, 2017. The 4th grade, young energy engineers for the future had loads of fantastic questions about energy and what they can do to make the world a better place. The presentation included pictures about Solar, wind, and geothermal projects in Jordan and samples of LEDs, and thermal insulation material they can use to make their future buildings energy efficient, and install Solar PV to cover the building electricity and their electric cars transportation needs, and plant trees to act as carbon sinks to combat climate change.
