Chapter News: WAEE Hosts 9th Annual Conference

The Wisconsin Chapter of the Association of Energy Engineers (WAEE) held its 9th annual Wisconsin Energy Efficiency Expo (WEEE) at the Potawatomi Hotel and Casino’s beautiful 30,000 square feet Event Center in Milwaukee, WI. The expo’s two main sponsors were We Energies and Slipstream. The event had over 275 attendees, featured 36 exhibitors, 20 breakout training sessions, and over $5,000 in door prizes. The WAEE President, Director of Environmental Sustainability, City of Milwaukee, and Potawatomi’s Energy Manager, provided welcome comments. In addition, Molson Coors’ Technical Service Manager and VP of Sustainability & EHS, along with Wisconsin’s Focus on Energy Program’s Managing Director, provided the keynote presentations.
