A Wrap on Spain’s iENER24 Energy Engineering Conference
The iENER24 Energy Engineering Congress, held in Valencia, Spain, concluded to widespread acclaim, marking its fifth edition as a landmark event in Spain’s energy sector. This year, the congress drew 420 participants from across Spain and the globe, reaffirming its status as a crucial platform for sharing knowledge and advancements in energy engineering.
Over two days, more than 55 experts from national and international backgrounds presented the current challenges and opportunities within the energy sector. AEE Staff members Bill Kent, Mary Elise, and Cheyenne Kimbrell were in attendance. Bill gave a keynote where he shared a global outlook on energy efficiency. Cheyenne presented on AEE member benefits and ways to get involved in the AEE community, highlighting the organization’s commitment to professional development and networking opportunities.
In addition to the comprehensive conference agenda, the congress featured a gala dinner on the first night, which served as both a networking event and the ceremony for the prestigious Association’s Awards. Attended by nearly 140 people, the gala was a resounding success, celebrating and recognizing outstanding achievements in the Spanish energy sector. Valencia proved to be an ideal host, combining its commitment to innovation and sustainability with excellent facilities for such a significant event.
