AEE Palestine Chapter Hosts ‘EnergyTech’, the Biggest Awareness Campaign in the Middle East for Energy & Environment

The Association of Energy Engineers – Palestine Chapter – along with Grow Project presented EnergyTech campaign ( over the period May – June ), which is a campaign concerned with providing a total awareness program in various renewable energy and sustainability subjects with more than 32 online sessions in one month activity, those online sessions were presented by local and international experts. 

Eng. Abdelnaser Dwaikat assured that this event was the biggest in the Middle East in same period due to the number of participants and the number of sessions and diversification of speakers and topics.

This campaign came according to the recent situation in the world as a result of Covid-19 pandemic. To enrich the scientific content in different fields of renewable energy sector while staying at home, all the sessions were given online via ZOOM, which attracted university students in particular, engineers both males and females , all workers in energy field, in addition to a number of those interested in this field. The initial number of registrants in the campaign registration form exceeds 320 people regardless the additional number of people whom attended some particular sessions, the number of sessions was 32 speaker , each of whom gave a session on a different topic, and based on the final evaluation form, diversity of topics contributed to benefiting the largest possible number of people whether by enriching their information in their field of work/their study or in introducing them to different fields. At the end of the campaign a comprehensive exam was sent to all participants, where 78 people passed it ant took a training certificate and get a free AEE membership, also certificates of attendance were presented to those who attended at least 25 session, as well as this campaign represent a qualitative move in the activities type of Association of Energy Engineers, which also had a positive impact on the work team.
