AEE National Capital Chapter 5th Job Fair & Career Expo

The Association of Energy Engineers – National Capital Chapter hosted its Fifth Annual Engineering Job Fair and Career Seminar and Luncheon this year. This was an outstanding opportunity for experienced engineers as well as students in engineering programs to meet prospective employers who hosted booths at the event. In addition, a Seminar: Pursuing Careers in the Energy Sector featuring professionals from the job search and talent development field provided attendees with valuable information on how to leverage your skills to find a job, the hidden job market, creating a job for yourself, and much, much more. Overall, this event provided outstanding career development and professional networking opportunities for National Capital Chapter members and non-members alike.

Seminar: Pursuing Careers in the Energy Sector – Talent development and job search professionals from around the region provided attendees with valuable job hunting tips and information on employment.  The Seminar Moderator was scheduled to be Andrew Alexander, owner of Powerhouse Recruiting and popular past speaker at our events for the last two years.  Mr. Alexander was unable to make it due to a family emergency.  Bill Saulino, AEE/NCC Board Member and primary event organizer took over as moderator.  The three-speaker panel included:  Robert Brandau, Founder – Career-Confidence.org, Laura M.
