AEE Lebanon Chapter Visits Balamand University

As part of its development track, and its mission to support the students sector, the AEE Lebanon Chapter in development paid a visit to the University of Balamand where a presentation, on the Association of Energy Engineers, its goals and the importance and benefits of Student Chapters, was conducted by the Interim Board President Mr. Osman Adra (CEM®, CMVP®) and the Interim Board Secretary and Certification Administrator Mr. Alain Aoun (CEM®, BEP®, CMVP®, CEA®, CLEP®, REP®).

The University of Balamand, having 5 campuses, more than 15 academic programs and more than 14,000 graduates, is considered as one of the most reputable universities in Lebanon. In the presence of the Engineering Faculty Dean and the directors of all five engineering departments (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Communication and Chemical), more than 75 students attended the presentation.

The event was a great success and a milestone on the road of establishing the first Student Chapter in Lebanon.
