India Chapter of AEE

The first chapter of the Association of Energy Engineers in India was inaugurated on February 21, 2003 by H.E. Mr. George N Sibley, the American Consul General, Consulate General of USA in Kolkata at Indian Institute of Social Welfare of Business Management (IISWBM). IISWBM, the First B School of India, was constituted on 25th April, 1953, by a resolution passed by the Senate of the University of Calcutta. The Institute has successfully reached its Diamond Jubilee Year, signifying 60 years of eventful journey in management education in India since that day.

The AEE India Chapter at IISWBM has won international awards in various categories since its inception in 2003, including the "Best Chapter Performance Award".

AEE India has launched a dynamic website where members can get updated initiatives about their chapter. They also publish a quarterly newsletter called "Energy Window".

IISWBM received Corporate Life Membership of AEE in 2011, which allows them to gain exposure to industry leaders, access to standards and technological resources.
