Solar Photovoltaic modules have been through rapid improvements in the last few years, causing cost to be lower and efficiency to be boosted to new high records. This development has reduced the Levelized Cost of Energy (LCoE) to new lows achieving new world records around the world. In this session we will discuss the major developments on both cell and module levels that played a leading part in this development and the possible future improvements.

BIOGRAPHY

Waleed AlHallaj is the Business Development Manager of the Middle East and North Africa at Jinko Solar Co., Ltd. He has over eight years of experience in the EPC, Development and Manufacturing sectors of the Photovoltaic industry around the MENA region. Waleed is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM©), Renewable Energy Professional (REP™) and Business Energy Professional (BEP©) certifications by (AEE) where he was selected as Young Energy Professional of the Year 2019 for the Middle East region.
