Meghan McNulty, Project Engineer, Servidyne
This presentation that will review the common types of utility rate structures in the US, such as time-of-use (TOU) and real-time pricing (RTP), and key considerations for incremental rate calculations. Financial analyses of typical energy saving measures, from schedule and setpoint adjustments to retrofits and replacements, will demonstrate the difference between an incremental rate and an average rate, and why the average rate is not good enough for a quality energy efficiency project.
