Solutions to managing today's volatile energy costs.
Presented online in a series of three live two-hour sessions, this seminar will help you develop a systematic, process-driven approach to your energy program -- one that integrates a sustainable, green energy plan into your organization's overall business objectives, achieving results which will significantly improve economic performance.

You can participate in the seminar from your office, home, or anywhere you have access to the internet and a phone. You'll have opportunities to interact with your instructor and colleagues in real time during the three live teleconferencing sessions.

ABOUT THE SEMINAR
The creation of a sustainable energy plan
provides organizations with the opportunity to maximize energy efficiency, increase profitability through avoided cost savings, promote social responsibility and creates a sustainable work environment, resulting in an overall competitive advantage.

This online workshop is designed specifically for energy managers, plant managers and energy team leaders, as well as for finance directors and operations managers. If you have the responsibility to develop an "Energy Plan" for your organization, wonder where to start, and need to demonstrate the impact of your efforts to your organization's bottom line then this seminar is for you!

You'll have the opportunity during this program to conduct an analysis of your institution's current energy program based on the five basic areas of energy management. This process will lead you to the development of a "performance scorecard," providing a snapshot of your current energy program and a clear picture of ways to improve it. Specifically, you will learn how to lower your overall energy usage, align your energy actions with your organization's overall strategies and goals, and lay the groundwork for continued improvement. In addition you will gain a clear understanding of the positive impact of energy management on the environment.

You will walk away from this workshop with both a template and sample plan to use in formulating your own sustainable energy plan. Each participant will be given a workbook containing all the materials and tools discussed during the workshop. As a participant, you will take away from this seminar:

  • The techniques & methodology to develop a sustainable energy plan
  • A detailed template of a sustainable energy plan
  • A scorecard and an energy baseline map to assess current performance
  • A step-by-step action plan you can use to create your own comprehensive, achievable, sustainable energy plan
  • Techniques to effectively implement and monitor a strategic energy plan
  • A valuable exchange of ideas and experiences with peers
