NICK
STECKY, C.E.M., LEED Accredited Professional, is president of his
own facilities consulting firm headquartered in New Jersey. He brings
to this program over 20 years experience in the design, construction and
operation of a broad spectrum of facilities, including corporate R&D,
corporate headquarters, federal nuclear labs, office parks and educational
facilities. In addition, he has more than ten years experience in the
energy consulting, auditing and ESCO industries. A recognized leader in
the energy field, Mr. Stecky is the current president of the New Jersey
Chapter of AEE, past president of the New Jersey Chapter of ASHRAE, chairman
of the New Jersey High Performance Building Working Group, and serves
on the Board of Directors for the New Jersey Chapter of the U.S. Green
Building Council. Since 2002 he has served as the Sustainability Chairman
for the World Energy Engineering Congress. Recent speaking engagements
have included the ASHRAE winter and summer conventions in '03 and '04.
Mr. Stecky holds a bachelors degree in engineering and a masters degree
in systems.
