ABOUT
THE SEMINAR Lighting systems are one of the largest pieces of the building energy pie. Many important new lighting products and strategies have come to market in the past few years that allow facilities to break the lighting power density barrier of 0.5 watts per square foot while providing excellent lighting quality. The full scope of this trend and the technology options available will be explored in-depth in this program presented by two recognized retrofit lighting experts. With the wealth of new lighting technologies and products now being offered to boost energy savings and improve workplaces, there are so many options and so much conflicting information it is difficult to choose the right ones. This program will help you sort out which new products may be best for your specific applications, as well as guide you through all of the factors that must be considered to achieve the best possible results. The advantages
of high performance, high lumen 32-w T8 lamps over "energy-saving"
25 - 30-w T8 lamps will be investigated, as well as fixture retrofits,
re-lighting, controls and more. This program will show how to get to the
next level of energy savings by using spectrally-enhanced lighting, re-evaluating
your emergency lighting and outdoor lighting systems, as well as using
selected LED niche lighting products. Sustainable lighting ensures that systems will operate at high efficiency for many years, but not all energy-efficient choices are sustainable solutions. This program will identify the best technologies, products and practices to meet both energy efficiency goals and provide sustainable lighting solutions. The instructors have designed this program specifically with the goal of providing useful information that you can readily apply for immediate results. Case histories, best practices, and how to avoid mistakes will be discussed. Even if you have participated in the Advanced Lighting Retrofit Options online seminar in the past, this new updated version has considerably different and evolved information.
