Last year at the 30th Anniversary World Energy Engineering Congress energy professionals were recognized as “Legends in Energy.” They will now receive the honor of becoming “Chartered Legends in Energy”.

The Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) will grant the “2008 Legends in Energy” mark of distinction to qualified professionals at the 31st World Energy Engineering Congress (WEEC) to be held in Washington, DC. The VIP Dinner Cruise Honoring "Legends in Energy" will take place, Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at the National Harbor. The 31st WEEC Conference will be held at the Gaylord National Convention Center, October 1-3, 2008. This event will honor our “Chartered Legends in Energy” as well as 2008's “Legend in Energy” inductees.

Individuals who qualify for this distinction will receive:

• Customized “2008 Legend in Energy” Lapel pin
• Certificate recognizing you as a “2008 Legend in Energy”
• Badge ribbon recognizing you as a “2008 Legend in Energy”
• Recognition as a “Legend in Energy” at the VIP Dinner Cruise
• Recognition on AEE's Web site as a "2008 Legend in Energy" professional

**Only those professionals who meet the requirements below and who register for the 31st WEEC Conference by September 19, 2008 will receive “Legends in Energy” recognition.

This invitation to be recognized as a “2008 Legend in Energy” is for individuals who meet the following criteria:

Register to attend the conference of the 31st World Energy Engineering Congress, October 1-3, 2008 at the Gaylord National Convention Center in Washington, DC prior to September 19, 2008 (VIP Dinner Cruise Honoring “Legends in Energy” is included in full conference registration fee for paid conference attendees - does not apply to sponsor or corporate leader group discounts, seminar registrations, complimentary speaker registrations). Pre-registration for Legends Dinner Cruise is required.

AND, meet one of the following criteria

1. AEE Energy Managers Hall of Fame Member
2. AEE Certified Professional
3. AEE Past or Present Officer
4. AEE Chapter Past or Present Officer
5. AEE Corporate Member
6. Life AEE Member
7. AEE Membership for 10 Years or More
8. AEE National and International Award Winners
