Special Recognition as a 2012 Legend in Energy

The Legends in Energy VIP reception and dinner will be held on Halloween at the magnificent and historic Fox Theatre. Lavishly decorated with sweeping columns and ornamentation, the Fox’s Egyptian Ballroom affords the opulent splendor of the pharaohs and the mystique of a Middle Eastern palace.

The Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) will be hosting the 2012 Legends in Energy event in conjunction with the World Energy Engineering Congress Conference & Expo on October 31 - November 2, 2012 in Atlanta, GA. This networking event will be included in the registration fee for paid WEEC conference attendees who are current Legends or eligible to be a 2012 Legend in Energy Inductee. You must attend the WEEC conference and the Legends in Energy event to receive recognition.

Attendees will receive a commemorative masquerade mask and be entertained by fortune tellers, magicians, and more. Broadway performers will sing songs from Phantom of the Opera, Jekyll and Hyde, Young Frankenstein, and other major shows.

You will not want to miss this extraordinary event.  It is a first-come, first-served event and preregistration is required.

If you do not meet the eligibility requirements to become a Legend in Energy or are a WEEC speaker, seminar attendee, exhibitor, corporate leader or sponsor, you are invited to attend this event for an additional $150. The cost of an additional guest ticket is $150.

If you are a Chartered Legend or a current Legend in Energy, we invite you to join us as we celebrate your continued success and accomplishments. If you are not already a Legend in Energy, please view the list of criteria below to see if you qualify to become a 2012 Legend in Energy.

You must attend WEEC 2012 as a conference attendee, speaker, seminar attendee, exhibitor or sponsor to attend this event.

Qualified Legends in Energy will receive:

  • Customized 2012 Legend in Energy Lapel pin
  • Certificate recognizing inductees as a 2012 Legend in Energy
  • Badge ribbon recognizing inductees as a Legend in Energy
  • Recognition as a Legend in Energy at the Legends in Energy Gala
  • Recognition on AEE's Web site as a 2012 Legend in Energy professional

To receive the 2012 Legend in Energy distinction you must attend WEEC 2012 Conference, the Legends in Energy Dinner, AND meet one of the following criteria:

  1. AEE Energy Managers Hall of Fame Member
  2. AEE Certified Professional
  3. AEE Past or Present Officer
  4. AEE Chapter Past or Present Officer
  5. Life AEE Member
  6. AEE Membership for 10 Years or More
  7. AEE National and International Award Winners
