Rise to the Top of the Energy Management Profession: Become AEE-Certified
|
|
|
The Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) was the first organization to pioneer energy certification programs. No other organization can match the AEE Certified Energy Manager® (CEM®) credential. Here’s why AEE certifications are used throughout business and government:
- Only organization implementing energy certification programs for 34 years
- Only organization that has certified 10,000 Certified Energy Managers (CEM)
- Only organization that has certified over 22,000 professionals in specialty energy areas
AEE certification programs are recognized by the US Department of Energy, US Agency for International Development, State Department, Fortune 1000 companies, utilities, energy service companies, and countless others. In 2011, the US Department of Energy recognized the Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) and Certified Building Commissioning Professional (CBCP) programs by awarding AEE a grant to expand AEE existing training and certification programs. When you earn an AEE Credential, you are distinguishing yourself among colleagues in your field and demonstrating high levels of experience, competence, and specialty knowledge. The 2011 AEE member survey, based on 1934 responses, indicates:
- Eighty-six percent (86%) of energy professionals surveyed responded that since receiving AEE certification their company has been able to respond to more requests for proposals
- Seventy-four percent (74%) of energy professionals surveyed responded that their company has benefited since they had received their certification
- Fifty-two (52%) of energy professionals surveyed indicated that they are receiving higher professional visibility since receiving their AEE certification
