Certifications

Since 1981 AEE has certified more than 15,000 professionals, enabling them to receive special recognition for their expertise in a variety of specialized areas of the energy, power, green facilities, industry. AEE's certification programs are recognized by such government agencies as the U.S. Department of Energy and the U.S. Agency for International Development, as well as by Fortune 1000 corporations, utilities and energy service companies. When you earn your certification credential, you are distinguishing yourself among colleagues in your field, and demonstrating high levels of experience, competence and specialized knowledge.

LIFETIME CERTIFICATION
A certified professional, upon retiring and reaching the age of sixty-two, is certified for life. No further reporting is necessary except to notify the Certification Secretary of meeting the age requirement by sending a copy of their Driver’s License.
